HELLO GOOD EVENING AND WELCOME

Welcome to Borders Writers' Forum Website.  A website devoted to the very best contemporary writing from the Scottish Borders. By contemporary we mean writers living and working in the Scottish Borders.  The work produced by our members is many and varied. The stories and poems range in setting from the past, to the present, and maybe even the imagined future.

Please browse the samples of our members work at your leisure.

The Forum organises workshops, writers' visits, and readings throughout the year. This is part of our aim to help develop our members' professional development.

We also promote the work of writers living and working in the Scottish Borders.

This is a vibrant area of Scotland with a rich cultural history. It also has though an exciting and forward looking writing community.

We welcome new members.

Our readings are open to everyone who wishes to take part, or spectate.  If you wish to be kept informed, and be eligible for all our varied events, membership is (only) £10 per year.

For further details about how to join the Forum, or about its various activities and aims please contact Secretary Iona Mcgregor at mcgregor.iona@btinternet.com  or  ionacarroll@hotmail.co.uk
